Have you met Lilly Be’Soer?

Lilly Be’Soer is an outstanding Papua New Guinean woman. She is the leader of the organisation Voice for Change, a very well recognised CBO in Minj, Jiwaka province, in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea. Supported by Oxfam, UN Women and many other donors, Lilly and her people have been assisting women in the area for many years.

In this interview, she talks about Sorcery and Witchcraft Related Violence, Gender Based Violence in Papua New Guinea, Women Empowerment and the importance of involving the grassroots when creating effective developing strategies.
